Cinnamon French Toast Muffins Recipe for Breakfast or Dessert by 30Seconds Food
French toast in muffin form? Uh, yes, please. This easy French toast muffin recipe is versatile enough for breakfast on the go or a sit-down Sunday brunch with friends and family.
The batter for these french toast muffins is simply milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and cubed bread. You can use whatever firm bread you enjoy, but challah, brioche, white bread, French bread and croissants are all great choices. The streusel is a sweet combination of butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and a dash of salt. It's the perfect topping for these French toast muffins.
Serve this moist muffin recipe with maple syrup, caramel sauce or sweet bourbon butterscotch sauce, if desired.
